ibm thinkpad T23

fedora core 1 and fedora core 2 test 1 installed without a problem on my thinkpad T23. both detected the built-in wireless device and both let me configure it (e.g. WEP key) from some GUI. but the built-in wi-fi works with neither dist. is there something special about the built-in (not a PCMCIA card) wireless device? is it supposed to work?
