Compiling

I've downloaded an AMD driver, and the download has a .h file and a .c file. Am I meant to compile these, and if so, how?

It's a "Cool 'n Quiet" Driver for AMD Athlon 64 - http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/cont....60.01.tar.bz2

If it's a hardware driver then you're almost certainly going to need the relevant kernel sources so thst it can be built as a module.
