Unhappy an unusual problem

I have installed fedora on my laptop in the past the installation was smooth however when i tried to install it now i encountered problems

my laptop is a toshiba qosmoi player wtih centrino processor...I used the recovery disk to format the system. The system now has two RAID hard disks. After that I booted from the fedora disk 1 and a problem happened...it said that no hard disks were found and prompted me to add devices from a gigantic list...

the hard disks work fine in windows xp and the recovery disk that came with the laptop detected them

please help me

thank you and i appreciate your help

You should check hardware compatability lists (HCL) to make sure your laptops Raid Controller is compatable with Fedora/Linux . seems to be that it's not finding your harddrive controller properly.
