Samba Domain Member with AD using FC 1 and KErberos and Winbind

i finally give up (almost) in tryin to authenticate all my linux clients through AD in Windows 2000. My linux client uses Fedora Core 1. I could see list of users using wbinfo -u but when i try to connect it always says password incorrect. at times i get message access denied. can anyone help... i don't want to create new users in my linux server and i can't afford to remove Windows 2000 server... I want to do it without using OpenLDAP... Can anyone guide so as to use Samba with Kerberos + Winbind to authenticate through AD. Also how do i tell my linux client to authenticate through the AD? Do i need to install samba server in every linux clients?
