Question Unable to find folders and files for installation

I have tried to use 'search' to find certain folders and files but unable to find them.
e.g. the folder which contain mozilla browser(installed from cd)
as I tried to manually install macromedia flash player manually.
I followed the instructions of installing the player but it did not work
Please suggest some possible solutions.

your mozilla files will be in a hidden directory so in the search window click on 'show more options' and under 'Available options' choose 'Show hidden and backup files'

You could also use 'slocate'. It's but much fatser and more flexible.
First run as root:
Quote:
#updatedb
to update the slocate database Then look for your files with
Quote:
$slocate mozilla | grep home

You can find out what book a person needs by asking the question, "Do you want to be a Muggle or a Wizard?"

(1) If they answer "Wizard", then you give them RUTE.
(2) If they answer "Muggle", then you give them "Linux for Dummies."
(3) If they answer "What's a Muggle?", then you give them "Harry Potter".
