Wireless PCI card driver needed

i am new to linux as well as this forum, and as so have very limited understanding of what i am doing. I have an IEEE wireless LAN PCI card 802.11g. the card is not being recognised at all on linux and i am wondering if there is a driver out there for it

It really depends on what chipset your card has.

With that information you may be able to use linux drivers for you wireless card such as madwifi. If you are unsure or if your cards chipset is unsupported you can use ndiswrapper to use your windows drivers for your wireless card.
