I'm having problems getting my radeon driver-

I tried all those commands, nothing works..'no such directory/nothing to do" etc..(I have f4 )I've tried yum updates...
i went to ati, and I'm very confused on how to download the driver(which one, first of all..?) and then what commands do I put as root?I see all this 'language' and get very confused also, with that since I'm new.
I download their(ati) ati driver, and then I cant find where it went...or theres an error 'opening' it..etc-
I'm very lost, I may have posted this before, or a similar post awhile back-but I still havent gotten my 3d acceleration to work, and my graphics are crappy. so-sorry
when booting up-fedora sees my radeon 9200..
please can someone help me get the 3d acceleration and a driver for my radeon? thanks everyone.
