how to read chinese characters font in fedora 5 in firefox and in the file browser

Hi, I"m wondering how to get chinese characters to show up properly in firefox and in my file browser as I have some files in chinese fonts. How to get it to display chinese fonts correctly. Someone help me, Thanks

You need to install Chinese support. Which version are you using?

and you need to set chinese in /etc/sysconfig/i18n

i'm using the latest firefox version? what program can i use to write and read chinese characters in fedora?

read the tutorial http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/intro-i18n/

thanks, but the pdf file didn't really help, has anyone try to read chinese character font in fedora 5/firefox and would greatly appreciate if anyone can help?
