MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC

I have freshed install FC 4 on my laptop of HP zv5450ca without such problem as stated in title. Then I updated my machine. Now the kernel is 2.6.16-1.2111_FC4smp. After I reboot my machine, the error message of 'MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC' shows up.

What is wrong with my fedora? How to fix it?

Your help is highly appreciated!

I found the following relevant link while investigating this same error message while booting Fedora 8 (with updates) on an Acer 5420 laptop:

I'm still looking for an easy (ier) answer.
