CD rom

I am using FC5.
I have 2 roms,one CDRW and another DVD-Rw.
My audio cable connected from dvd rom to the mother board.Whenever I play DVD/CD from this DVD rom everything is ok but if I tried play from CDRW there is no sound.
Since we can't connect two audio cable to motherboard what is the alternative way to get it done.
I tried search for the answer in vain.Anybody can guide me?
Thanks

Use a different audio player that reads the digital sound from the CD bypassing the sound cable. Most of them do.
