mplayer wont work

Ive downloaded the mplayer rpm but it still won't work. I go to a wmv movie and it says I need a plugin. It says manual install and takes me to the Windows Media Player page. Why won't it work?

Install the appropriate repositories for yum, then get mplayer, mplayerplug-in, and extra codecs. See Fedora Core 5 Installation Notes for instructions.

But I got this as result from yum

No Match for argument: mplayer
No Match for argument: mplayer-skins
No Match for argument: mplayer-fonts
Nothing to do

My FC5 is Linux 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 #1 Tue Mar 14 15:48:33 EST 2006 i6

What's the mistake I did ?
