My microphone doesn't work, or doesnt work with teamspeak

Im trying to use team speak, but my microphone doesn't work. I dont have a need to use it on any other app, so im not sure how to test to see if the microphone is configured at the linux level, or if its broken at the teamspeak level

Anythoughts would greatly be appreciated>

thx

A few programs to try your microphone: audacity, skype, gizmo. Install one of those and verify. Audacity is probably easiest. It's in Extras.

You will need to enable the "capture" in the mixer settings....in KDE use kmix or alsamixer to adjust the settings.
