FC5 light blue stripes all over the desktop from time to time

hi,
since I have upgraded to FC5 I get from time to time light blue stripes all over the desktop or the entire desktop turns light blue, not depending which application I'm just using....
when I go with my courser over the blue stripes than they go away, after it starts once it gets worse after a while...then only option -> restart
after a reboot the disappear and it takes a while until it starts again.....

I have already upgraded to the latest version of the fedora kernel

thanks for help

That's a strange one. What type of video card do you have and what driver are you running in the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf?

hi,
I have installed an ATI Radeon X300 according to my system

xorg.conf
but i guess that is correct

Code:
Section "Device"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "radeon"
        VendorName "Videocard vendor"
        BoardName "ATI Radeon X300"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
        Identifier "Screen0"
        Device "Videocard0"
        Monitor "Monitor0"
        DefaultDepth 24
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport 0 0
                Depth 16
                Modes "800x600" "640x480"
        EndSubSection
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport 0 0
                Depth 24
                Modes "1280x1024" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
        EndSubSection
EndSection

I would search the forum for ATI Driver issues as that is a pretty recent card and the ATI driver must not be working properly would be my guess.
