postfix doesn't start

Hi all,

I have try this howto http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/sho...ht=mail+server
in my fedora 5 , but when i try to start service-postfix doesnt start .

in my mailog i have this .....

May 4 09:07:02 localhost postfix/sendmail[897]: warning: valid_hostname: numeric hostname: 80.150.x.x
May 4 09:07:02 localhost postfix/sendmail[897]: fatal: file /etc/postfix/main.cf: parameter myhostname: bad parameter value: 80.150.x.x
May 4 09:07:03 localhost postfix[898]: warning: valid_hostname: numeric hostname: 80.150.x.x
May 4 09:07:03 localhost postfix[898]: fatal: file /etc/postfix/main.cf: parameter myhostname: bad parameter value: 80.150.x.x

Any suggestion ?

i have reinstalled postfix with this howto http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_se...dora_core_5_p5
now postfix start , but i try to read my email from squirelmail http://myname.com/webmail
i can't access always i have bad user or password
i have try user: root , root@myname.com , root.localhost but it's the same ........

please help me .....

now with ispconfig i have configured 1 user "carlainz" and i can log in in my webmail and send email ...
but when the email arrive at destination look like this: web2_carlainz@localhost.mydomain.com , where i can change in web2_carlainz@mydomain ?
and i can not recevice nothing..............................

hi, do you use squirellmail to see your email? if is correct root can't log in in squirrellmail for default, you can add a new user in your system, that is it must a linux user to log in to squirrelmail.
