Making transparent windows

Okay I saw in gnome-look.org a transparent window, however, I am not sure how they got it to work. Does anyone know how to get a transparent window?

Was this just a transparent terminal window?
If so, then open a terminal and select from the Terminal Menu... Edit / Profiles / Edit / Effects/
the rest should be obvious.

Its the terminal yet it is transparent to what is behide it, not just the background image atleast I think its not, The link is http://www.gnome-look.org/content/sh...?content=37663
