Nforce4 raid problem

Hi all !

I am trying to install FC5 on a Tyan GT20 braebone. The motherboard is a Tyan K8E, and the chipset is an NVidia Nforce4.
I have 2 SATA disks, which I plan to use for RAID1 mirroring.

FC5 installed correctly, but the disk partitionning utility looked weird : I only had one disk visible, and its name was something like /dev/mapper/nvidia_dbcaejeb.
I though it might be caused by the "fakeraid" of the NForce4, so I totally disabled it in the BIOS.
I restarted the installation and I still only got this nvidia_dbcaejeb drive !
I re-enabled the NForce4 raid, recreated a RAID1 mirror and restarted the installation.
I installed on this device (nvidia_dbcaejeb), and the installation went fine.
I chose not to install a boot manager since this is the only OS on the machine.

After completion of the installation, the machine won't boot !

What is wrong with my configuration ?

Thanks a lot for your help !

OK, I started the installation process again.
I disabled all RAID functionnality in the BIOS.
The /dev/mapper/nvidia_dbcaejeb is mentionned as "Model: linux device-mapper" in the disk partitionning utility.
This time, I chose to install GRUB.
I'll keep you informed.

The latest install went fine (everything RAID-related disabled in BIOS).
It appears that the installation programm automagically maps the 2 drives to a RAID1 disk, named "/dev/mapper/nvidia_dbcaejeb" !
This is great for me, but I would not have liked this if I had planned to do stripping...
