I am running the linux version of Majesty on FC5 x86_64.
When I was running this under FC4 I had no problems and the game worked great; however, under FC5, I can not save any games.
Besides the annoyance of not being able to save freestyle games, this makes the game virtually unplayable as it crashes when it tries to write out statistics.
I was wondering if anyone might have some ideas what could be stopping the game from being able to write out saves under FC5 as compared to FC4 where it worked?
Some things I have done (with no success):
- Running under root.
- Disabling SELinux.
- Setting Exec-shield to 0.
(Note: I have to do all of these things to get Cedega to run anyways.)
Any other areas of interest that I should be looking into?
