fedora 5 cannot activate network device eth0

Ihave a IBM thinkpad 770z prior running fedora 4 everything worked. I clean/new upgrade to fedora 5
i notice error when booting up stated diable IRQ #10 not sure what this mean
and when tryied to bring up eth0 received error
axnet_cs device eth0 does not seen to be present delay initialization

If you're having an IRQ conflict you generally need to figure out if two devices are sharing the same IRQ (10 in your case)...

You then have the fun job of trying to reassign them in your BIOS...at least that's what I had to do when I had a similar problem...you may be lucky and it may not be what I think it is.

the laptop has swappable floppy and cd-rom if this the cast i will just use the cd-rom because its working it installed distro.

any idea on network card on fedora 4 worked fine fedora 5 cannot seem to find when tryied to bring up eth0 received error
