Sleep Mode With Fc5

Hi--- im a noobie to linux and i installed FC5 on Apple Xserver G5 when i put it in sleep mode the computer keeps running and the display goes blank. I also installed FC5 on a powerbook G4 i can put into sleep mode and take out of sleep mode with no problems. So why can i not do it with the Xsever. thank you

try hitting the power button to wake it up.
