Question OOo Base

I've just upgraded from FC4 to FC5 and OOo Base seems to have disappeared. Was this not part of the FC5 package?

It should still be there, but you'd have to invoke it from the commandline with "oobase", without the quotes of course. Same goes for "oodraw".

I noticed too that Base wasn't there when I upgraded my FC4 installation to FC5. I just used the install tab of yumex to search for and install it. It is listed now in the Office submenu of the Applications pulldown as Database Development.

OTOH, although Draw is installed, (deinstalled it and reinstalled it though yumex to make sure, it still doesn't show up in the menu, so I will either have to invoke it via the command line as Zigzagcom suggested, or to try to add it to the menu somehow. It can also be invoked through the file/new/drawing menu items when an OO application is open.

Regards,

Stephen
