How to use Proxim wifi card

I'm new to Fedora, having mostly been a user of the *BSD flavors, so be gentle... :-)

After downloading the new FC5 I was able to sucessfully install it on a HP nc6000 laptop and get the whole thing working. However I cannot get my Proxim/Orinoco Gold wifi card (8470-wd) to activate. Is this card suppored by Fedora and if yes, what is needed to activate and use it?

Thanks...
Peter
