    HDD space eaten up

    Hello

I've started downloading the ISO's for Fedora Core 5. After I've burned the image to CD with K3B I move the ISO file to trash. After I empty the trash the free space in the partition is still the same. Shouldn't there be more free space after I empty the trash? How can I fix this?

I've already tried "yum clean all"

    Thanks

Use something like kdirstat or baobab to see exactly in which directory the problem is.

    How do I run kdirstat?

I tried running it from the CLI and got "Command not found."

I tried to 'yum' it and got "Nothing to do."

    ??

I don't know if there is already a kdirstat rpm for FC5. I've built it myself.
Boabab is in the extras, anyway.

    Purrrfect

Just what I needed. So 'extras' are applications that are installed as part of the FC5 install but not activated/unpacked until you ask for them?
