How to add "Open Terminal" to context menu?

Hi,

i have recently moved from my FC4 install to a new FC5 install. I was launching the Terminal quite often by right-clicking onto the desktop and selecting the first entry "Open Terminal" - this entry is now gone in FC5

Does anybody have some idea about how to get it back there?

Thanks in advance

Donno, but in my fc4 I dragged the 'open terminal' command in the menu to the taskbar and I just click on that to start a terminal. That's faster than your method!

Cheers, Paul.

Just do "yum install nautilus-open-terminal" and it will re-appear. Though you will have to log out of your session and back in again to see the menu option when you right click the desktop.

Neil.

Just for clarification, this was removed from Gnome starting with version 2.12, and is not specific to Fedora. Obviously many people miss it though, so someone came up with a patch..
