FC5 and ARC-1120 installation

M/b: Tyan S2892
CPUs: 2xOpteron 248
HDDs: 8x Seagate ST3250824AS (SATA II w/ NCQ)
RAID Controller: Tekram ARC-1120

My goal is raid5 array with FC5 installed on it. Is it possible or I should install OS on some separate drive outside the raid array? Is my controller supported by FC5 automatically or I need to compile drivers and install them manually.

Thanks in advance!
