Nautilus not opening maximized

Is there any way to make nautilus open maximized? My hand hurts...

You can use devil's pie. Its in Fedora Extras.

try opening Nautilus to the way you want it
then run gnome-session-save in the terminal log out then back in

Does this solve your problem?

Couldn't find devil's pie using yum with fedora and freshrpms repositories.

I tried the gnome-session-save advice and the nautilus window opened maximized automatically when I started gnome, but when I closed nautilus and opened it again the window was not maximized.
I think it's a bit strange that I can't find any information on this, as I would think others might want windows to open maximized as well.. but I could be wrong.
