FC5 dma_timer_expiry

Hello ALL,

used to work with RedHat long time ago. Now I need to have Linux for work again. FC5 was the choice. But could not get it installed.
Kernel boots and hangs up with the message:
hda: cache flushes support
hda: <4> hda: dma_timer_expiry: dma status == 0xff
dma_timer_expiry: dma status == 0xff
dma_timer_expiry: dma status == 0xff
dma_timer_expiry: dma status == 0xff
...

and so on..
please help! what could be a reason and how to fix it?

Configuration:
AMD Athlon 64 3200
ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe
hard disk WD UDMA100

Software to be installed:
FC5 x64 binary DVD iso-image

thanks in advance,
Alex
