Movie Player

What can play movies from the internet on FC4 like .mov, .avi,.wmv, etc...

Try totem. Mplayer plays many of those also.

There's also xine and xine-based Kaffeine available from extras/livna.

You need to have what's called "win32codecs" installed on your FC machine in order to play those proprietary-format files. Do a little googling on "win32codecs" and you'll get more information about it than you'll ever need.
