ipw2200 load failure in dmesg

After a fresh install of FC5 i see dmesg prints

Code:
ipw2200: ipw-2.4-boot.fw load failed: Reason -2
ipw2200 failed to register the network device
ipw2200: probe of 0000:02:02.0 failed with error -5
What with such wonderfully descriptive errors, does anyone know why this is happening? This is a thinkpad R50e with onboard Intel Pro/Wireless

Have you installed the proprietary firmware from http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/ ?
Fedora only contains the driver by default, not the firmware. You need to put the firmware in /lib/firmware
