MS LifeCam Cinema stops working

Hello,

I am having problem with my new webcam Microsoft LifeCam Cinema. The webcam works without any problem for 1 to 3 days and then the device /dev/video0 is not accessible. I get this in the messages log:

Feb 17 13:56:02 localhost kernel: uvcvideo: Failed to resubmit video URB (-1).
Feb 17 15:34:01 localhost kernel: ehci_hcd 0000:00:10.3: force halt; handhake f7e20014 00004000 00000000 -> -110

If I run lsusb after the webcam has stopped working I get the same listing as before the problems occurred:

lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 045e:075d Microsoft Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 046d:c501 Logitech, Inc. Cordless Mouse Receiver
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

I have seen this problem when accessing the /dev/video0 using ffmpeg, mencoder, fswebcam and vlc.

I am running fedora 12 :
uname -a
Linux htpc 2.6.31.12-174.2.3.fc12.i686.PAE #1 SMP Mon Jan 18 20:06:44 UTC 2010 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

thanks in advance,
Trond
