Getting KDE Testing and new Stable Builds

I'm trying to get involved in KDE. While I'll be doing some bug reporting, I intend to (at least for now) focus on writting guides. To ensure both the quality of my work and timeliness of edits, I want to run new releases (like the new KDE 4.9 that won't be available in normal Fedora channels until Fedora 18) and alpha's and beta's so I can watch the progression and keep my documents updated accoringly. I'm not superb with the command line, but if instructions are specific and detailed, I can use it just fine. Since I'm new to Fedora, I tried researching how to add KDE repos on my computer, but I havn't found anything detailed enough. I found this: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIGs/KDE/Testing, which I'm sure is great for the devs and command line junkies but I'll need more detail to get it working. Can anyone help me?

The instructions are clear enough on the link posted IMO.

Do I first copy the file into that directory or do I just do the command line? Either way...I'm assuming that the repo name goes where it says <repo>, but what goes in <packages>?

Copy the contents of the kde.repo file to a kde.repo in /etc/yum.repos.d and then use yum to upgrade the packages.

Quick method

Code:
su
curl http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/kde.repo -o /etc/yum.repos.d/kde.repo
yum --enablerepo kde-unstable update

Thanks, I've gotten it to work with yum. After adding the repos, for some reason it won't let me enable and disable them with apper. Is this a bug?

I don't know as I would dream of using a gui app for package management.
