Question Can't install vlc-player on Fedora 18 (64-bit, xfce)

Hi !

I have been trying to install vlc-player on my Fedora 18 (64-bit, xfce) for the past two hours with instructions found in these forums and through Google.

I have downloaded both the free and non-free repositories through

Code:
yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-rawhide.noarch.rpm
and

Code:
http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-rawhide.noarch.rpm
after logging in as root.

After downloading them both, I executed this command

Code:
yum install vlc
and received this error message. (see image)

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I am not sure you can install rawhide repo with Fedora 18? You may have better luck install F18 repo for VLC.

Though this is odd, in F16 you needed rpmFusion Free repo for VLC. In F17, VLC was in Fedora repos - but now I see you can not access VLC through F18 repos. So I guess it is back to rpmFusion repos
