IBall3.5G datacard is not connecting to the ninter etwork

I have purchased a iBall3.5 G connector datacard,it is not connecting to the internet.I am using Fedora 17 distribution.
Data card is detected by the kernel, dmesg command showing vendor id and product id. Further i Don't know how to proceed .Please help
