Fedora 16, kernel 3.6.x - failed to start /vbusbf

Greetings,

with the latest 3.6.x. kernel update, usbfs doesn't seem to work anymore.
When booting up, I'll get "failed to start /vbusbf" with a bunch of
services following afterwards all failing and eventually throwing me into
a repair shell. After removing "none /vbusbf usbfs rw.devgid=1001,devmode=666 0 0"
from fstab, it works again.
Now my question is, is that line depricated, do I need usbfs at all? I think I've
added it because of virtualbox some time ago. Latest version doesn't seem to
need it anymore though, so just throw out that line and be done with it or
should I be concerned now that other stuff is going to depend on it?
Thanks for your advice.

Jack

It would appear that it is related to Virtual Box. This link http://www.kernelhardware.org/fedora...x-usb-working/ is where I found reference to it on Google.

Thanks!

Fix:

$ root vi /etc/fstab
Comment out or remove:

#none /vbusbf usbfs devgid=501,devmode=664 0 0

Yes, I found a few references to vitualbox as well. The question is virtualbox really the only thing that needs /vusbf ? Safe to assume yes. Removed the depricated line and solved. Thanks.
