GDM login loop

Upgraded from Fedora 25 to Fedora 26 and I am stuck at a login loop.

After a reboot, when i log in with GDM, screen goes black and returns to login screen.

If I Ctrl-Alt-F1 to a console and log in, return to login screen, I can then log in normally.

Affects wayland and gnome X sessions as well as LXqt .

It is NOT a selinux problem as it persists with selinux in permissive mode.

If it is not broken, tweak it... If you break Fedora you get to keep both pieces :p
