preupgrade F16 to F17 fails with repo set-up problems

I'm trying to upgrade from an up-to-date F16 to F17 using preupgrade.
The preupgrade script, however, doesn't seem to download any packages. It seems to fail setting up repos. And when I did not notice this the first time, I let it reboot. It started the installation progress, but it seemed not to be doing anything (also did not report errors as well).

Below is the output I see from preupgrade. Anybody has an idea how I can fix it?
Thanks.

Re: preupgrade F16 to F17 fails with repo set-up problems

Sorry, some kind of proxy issue. I thought I had set the http_proxy variable correct, and still do not completely understand why it suddenly works, but I must have done something wrong there .... Works fine now!
