[SOLVED] please help me upgrade my fedora 15 system to fedora 17

I've been a windows user for long time and ditched it for fedora about 15 months ago...

fedora 15 has been pretty smooth, fast and safe for me...i love it totally!
when fedora 16 was released, i couldn't manage to get time and upgrade my system and then i decided to upgrade when fedora 17 is released...ending the support for fedora 15.

Please help me upgrade my system to fedora 17 without changing any of my settings (i had to spend tons of hours to make everything work perfect, except printing!!)...

please do not redirect me to webpages...I'd highly appreciate it if you could guide me with your experience as to what is the most suitable method for a user like me..

i upgraded from fedora 15 to 17. The process was complete and successful but it still shows fedora 15 installed on my pc...please help
