How to remove all GNOME panels?

I want to remove all of my panels, and i simply can't.

I've removed the bottom panel, and when i right-click the top panel, the "Delete this panel" option is disabled. I've googled around extensively and can't find a solution that works.

Can someone help?

Don't run gnome-panel in the first place. Remove it from your required components then kill it.

Code:
gconftool-2 -s -t list --list-type string /desktop/gnome/session/required_components_list [filemanager,windowmanager]
gconftool-2 -s -t string /desktop/gnome/session/required_components/panel ''
That will remove the panel from the required components list, and blank out the default panel to use.

For a graphical editor, try gconf-editor, if you don't have that command just install it with yum.

Thanks, that worked! But how do I undo it? Sorry.
