Fedora version for Samba 4.0

hi,
I want to install Samba 4.0 for testing purpose in my pc.Could you please guide me that which old version of Samba 4 will be compatible. I know that current version is Fedora 17 but due to my old hardware the latest release of fedora could not installed.

kindly let me know any old Fedora version which will be compatible with samba 4.0.
Fedora 13 can support my pc.

Samba4 hit to development snags in Beta.
1. The new info from Microsoft was included.
2. Beta was held up by the need of a dns.
Then when a few betas were out is was held up by standards from Fedora (I think it was encryption of some sort.)

So the last problem was compromised into a double use, but only one use per server.
I could be samba sever or a Directory sever.

Ergo, there is no real samba4 but samba-4.0.0 for F18+

Redhat clones of RHEL6.3 is as close as you will get to samba-3.x sever and a 389 directory.

Keep in mind, that unless you are using the Active Directory portions, there is no actual need for Samba 4 as the smb/cifs file-sharing portions are primarily still using the smb-3x codebase.
