The Perfect Fedora Laptop?
I recently sold my old laptop which had Fedora 10 installed on it, because a lot of the functions didn't work while using Fedora:
-SUSPEND TO DISK FAILED
-SUSPEND TO RAM FAILED
-MY BATTERY LIFE WAS CUT IN HALF COMPARED TO WHEN I USED WINDOWS (ACPI PROBLEM)
-WIRELESS ONLY WORKED WITH NDISWRAPPER (which, for me, was annoying since i wanted to use aircrack....)
-etc, etc, etc....
I'm shopping for a new laptop, and want to buy one before school starts again.
If anyone has had a 'near to perfect' experience using their laptop running Fedora, could you please post your model and a description of how everything works.
I wanted this thread to be dedicated to laptops that actually work very well when running Fedora.
