I can't import the key, can anyone tell me why or what i'm doing wrong? I'm trying to install Adobe Flash Player and am trying to follow the instructions below.

Re: Adobe Flash Player GPG key??

No one can tell you what you're doing wrong, if anything, unless you tell them exactly what it is you're doing. And what error messages are you getting? Assuming you have first successfully installed the adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm package using the wiki instructions you linked to, the second instruction to import the gpg key is,
Code:
su -c 'rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux'
Did you enter that command exactly as shown, including the single quotes and upper case letters where shown? The "su -c" part assumes you are not already root.

It may just be that the adobe repo is not enabled by default. If I recall correctly, I think it isn't. To check that, do:
Code:
cat /etc/yum.repos.d/adobe-linux-i386.repo | grep enabled
If you get back enabled=0 then edit that file, as root, and change that to enabled=1

Re: Adobe Flash Player GPG key??

I tried to copy and paste the command but get the error below, i've also tried typing it exactly as shown but still get the same error. I've checked the adobe repo and it is enabled showing "enabled=1".

Code:
error: /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-lonix: import read failed(-1).

Could the mispelling highlighted above be the problem? Does the gpg key file exist as expected?
Code:
ls /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux
/etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux
