Hello everyone
I'm trying to use the Blender 3D program but I do not have a mouse wheel. I've tried using the middle-click emulation setting inside of blender but it defaults to the <Alt> key. As you know if you hold alt and Left-click it will grab the window.
I'm wondering if there is a way to change this within Gnome so the Super key will grab the window instead of Alt. or if I could change blender so it uses Super, but I would prefer changing the setting in Gnome.
I'm using Fedora 17, but am not too familiar with Gnome Shell so beginner level instructions may be required unless it's something obvious that I seem to have missed.
Edit: Just realized the <Super> key displays the programs HUD (or whatever it's called).... reprogramming Alt to any other key(s) would help

Fixed it.
changing the setting with gconf-editor had no effect, nor did changing gconf directly from terminal.
I installed dconf-editor and it works, but if you have this problem don't use <Alt> as any of your keys. I tried using <Alt><Super> to maintain getting quick access to my activities screen but it maintained the Alt-drag window function. Changing to <Ctrl><Super> has fixed it.
Anyone using the dconf-editor to fix/modify your drag window key:
org -> gnome -> desktop -> wm -> preferences
change
mouse-button-modifier to whichever key you desire
