Question Can I launch a native app from a Wine app?

Hi all,

I use BreezeBrowser, a MS Windows image browser running under Wine (I can't find a native image browser that I like).

This app allows you to set an external editor.

Is it possible that I launch THE GIMP from BreezeBrowser? What would be the command? gimp or /bin/gimp won't work.

Is this possible at all?

Thanks in advance,

Humberto

The official Wine faq says it is possible.

Re: Can I launch a native app from a Wine app?

I tried it out and I am able to start gnome-terminal via taskmgr via its whole path but when I issue /usr/bin/gimp I get an error.
Maybe it's a bug or something.

Actually, I get the same error. The next article at the Wine site explains how to edit the path. But I haven't tried it yet.
