[SOLVED] Mozilla Firefox not working

I really don't know what happened to my Firefox browser. I was using it till yesterday but now it is not working(doesn't open up at all). I restarted my computer, re installed Firefox using yum and it went okay, but that also is making no difference. I tried running it from the terminal this is what i got:

[rhnblk@RhnBlk bin]$ firefox
/usr/lib/firefox/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xulrunner/libxul.so: undefined symbol: PR_SetCurrentThreadName

rpm -q gives this

rpm -q firefox
firefox-16.0.1-1.fc16.i686

and because of this now I"m using konqueror which runs dead slow in my laptop.
please help

yum update nspr

This will fix the problem.

But what was the problem can u tell me because I just put the system into sleep mode n next time firfox was not running..

My guess, just before you put the computer to sleep mode, firefox was updated and when you started back up, it tried to open the updated firefox but ran into the nspr issue! Having said that, why nspr is not updated is beyond me!
