Automount the /dev/sdb disk

Helo everyone!

As you can see, i am new here, and i am new at the linux world. A few day ago i installed the Fedora 17 (x86_64), and i like it.
I have installed succesfully the next things: skype, eclipse+android SDK, flash, xampp, vlc player.. i could set up the RPMFusion repositories.. so i think for the first steps was not so bed.

But now.. i have a problem.

i have two disk in my PC. The sda is my main disk. There are a Win7, and the F17. The sdb disk is my storage.
When i turn on my PC with F17, i have to go to the Dolphin filemanager and click to the device write the root pw, and than i can use it.
I think somehow it could be automatical. What i have to do for the automount?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Re: Automount the /dev/sdb disk

You can entries to /etc/fstab to automount your second drive.

Code:
man fstab
This is the man page and will give you details about fstab. Or, see this fstab article on Wikipedia. It has all options explained in detail.

Thumbs up Re: Automount the /dev/sdb disk

Thank you so much for your answer!
I inserted a row to the fstab file:
/dev/sdb1 /mnt/Windows ntfs-3g defaults 0 0
And it is work!

Thanks again!
