Question Upgrade interrupted

Greetings! I was in the process of upgrading from 11 -> 12, in fact about 3/5 of the way through package installs, when the power went off (for all of ten seconds!). After discovering the install disk (an iso download) wants to do a new install, I tried booting the system on disk. Obviously it booted, because here I am, and SysInfo tells me I am running release 12. How do I get the system upgrade completed, short of fully installing 12 over what remains of 11? Thanks. --thingol

Once a live upgrade is started do not stop the upgrade by rebooting, killing the process, or by any other method until it is complete, doing so will cause the affected system to be in a mixed state. Partially the old release and partially the new release. In this state the system will not be reliable and will not operate as expected. The only way to recover from this is to reinstall if it occurs.
