CPU at 100% with Lid Closed
It's an Acer Aspire One netbook, Fedora 12 beta.
I have power management set to "blank screen" when the lid is closed (and it does) but the processor runs at 100% while the lid is closed.
Any one else experience this?

Sorry for the Offtopic, but I am curious how did you find out your CPU is at 100% when the lid is closed?

With the system monitor...you know, the fancy graph thingy for CPU, memory and network.

Yes, the system monitor continues to run with the lid closed. The graph shows history; how much depending on how wide the system monitor window is.
Seriously, you have no idea what I talking about or what?

If the system monitor continues to run, isn't it possible to find out which processes consume the CPU. I would guess its X but maybe its something different.

It's just curious and perhaps the first thing coming to the mind of this thread readers. Now that you have 'proved' the issue exists I'd suggest you to run "top" in the terminal; it shows in detail memory usage (so you would know who is the sucker that uses the processor that much). I am not sure if it can keep history, though (but you can always open top, then close the lid a little bit and out of the sudden check the terminal).
