Authentication needed for power off

Although only one user (user1) logged once in F-17 (x86_64 up to date), executing poweroff defaults to the "Authentication is required for powering off the system while other users are logged in" snippet.

Results from who and users follows:

# who
user1 :0 2012-07-23 13:04 (:0)
user1 pts/0 2012-07-23 14:39 (:0)
root pts/1 2012-07-23 14:39 (:0)
root pts/2 2012-07-23 14:39 (:0)
root pts/3 2012-07-23 14:39 (:0)
root pts/4 2012-07-23 14:39 (:0)

# users
ml ml root root root root

Is this correct or is it there is a problem?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Authentication needed for power off

Log off root first. I guess the problem is solved then.

Re: Authentication needed for power off

MauserM98 and droidhacker thanks for your quick response.

I have no idea why root is logged in three time. The box was also tested physically disconected from the network with the same result.

This issue does not affect reboot which does not ask for authorization, it executes immediatly.
