Exclamation messengers disconnection

i am using fedora 10

when i open any messenger like gyachee,emesene,pidgin ...and so
they open
still online for a period
then disconnect

i tried to use ping yahoo.com
it reply

downloaded many and many files and they all were received successfully

any suggestions?

Some messenger servers are configured to disconnect clients that are idle. There may be nothing wrong with your client or network. It may be a busy server disconnecting you. Perhaps other O/S messenger clients do the same thing but don't report the problem if they automatically disconnect. I personally wish kopete would only notify me if it can't reconnect instead of with every server disconnect.
