have a problem

could not contact sorce freshrpms so it will be disabled

i keep geting that poping up i have no updates to do so i cant seem to find the problem
i was having a problem with my radeon 9600 card so i was trying to follows some things on here to fix the problem.

i downloaded a hardware browser which says

device information

manufactuer ati technologies inc
driver radionfb

does that mean it is installed
beacause i go into firefox and the page scrolls realy bad u move the scroll mouse and it takes ages to scroll.and when i go on to a site called trackking the computer logs out i know thers not a problem with that site as i have installed this version at work with no problems.

now i am not sure if this is all related but its doing my head in

everytime i try to update the graphics i get loads of different errors somthing to do with backend or somthing to do with cant find adress any help will be much apritiated thansk for listening

Is this Fedora you're talking about? Disable that freshrpms repository. Edit the file /etc/yum.repos.d/freshrpms.repo. Find the line that reads enabled=1 and change it to enabled=0. Try updates again.

ok tried to save it it wont let me i have a different root pass
is there a way to do it in terminal
