Re: Addicted to Linux

Yeah I love how simple LXDE is. Nice and fast even on older systems. I think I will switch over to Lubuntu when I get a new hard drive. Fedora 17 is good, yet I don't think using a distro on the cutting edge suits my style of computing.

Re: Addicted to Linux

I consider myself a "Linux Addict" for over 5+ years and I have NO intention of ever getting help for it! Currently I am running Fedora 17 LXDE 64-bit and even though it has taken me some time to get to used to how LXDE functions, I love it! It's been a very pleasant surprise and blazing fast! I am forced to run Windows 7 at work and can't believe how much slower it feels compared to any of the Desktop Environments out there! Keep up the great work, Fedora!

Re: Addicted to Linux

I have read a lot of your posts, I can honestly say, I never would have guessed kona0197 would be posting something like that on the fedoraforum.org

I will be interesting to see how your ubuntu experience goes. I haven't found it running any slower then fedora on the same box.
